Hoping this means prices won't drop too much more now.

That one going for £15,995 seems like a good price for anyone looking

I agree with that. The Z3 M series stabilised as well at a certain level for a long time.

There does seem to be quite a few sapphire black MC's come for sale this week. I look at pistonheads, autotrader and BMW aprroved used. Grander to prices are from 17k up to £20k which is good. I always look to incase some pops up that really takes my fancy.

I have to say, Top Gear can talk some crap occassionally.... :D But that is a great paragraph

Makes me want to buy one.

Without a roof :driving:

Didn't realise the car going for £15,995 was this one

Flimper,

Thanks for saying my ///M coupe looks good value for £15,995.

Hopefully someone who's in the Market for one in the near future will agree with you.

I have tried to price it competitively.

I agree a lot of them do seem to be falling into the hands of specialist dealers who's idea of detailing is using lots of cockpit shine on the interior.

Alas, people can't see past issues like colour, spec and proximity to home, so if your car's a minter but not got the toys and 5 miles down the road people don't call. I never did sell mine last year (http://www.z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=41&t=29634&p=417693#p403575) as I got nothing but a handful of emails offering me very low sums based on the lack of nav and some old b*llocks about silver grey being the least desirable colour (er, phoenix yellow anyone) that I decided to keep it.

However, it's now in arguably better shape than then due to an epic pre hose pipe ban detailing session and no doubt most on this forum are similarly loved, but I guess that's a relatively small percentage of the total market.

Anyway, if anybody wants to make me an offer...

I noticed that - the roadster prices all dropped a grand or two below what I paid for mine for a similar spec & mileage, but are now back up there and rising... Must be seasonal, even for coupes.

My car is on at 17200. Granted its not the cheapest , but I'm not too fussed whether it sells or not .

I fancied a change , but I'm now really starting to realise that's there's nothing out there which will match this little beast for performance and looks , in this price bracket .

I sat in a cayman the other day and it felt so boring I didn't even ask for a test run .

I've considered going back to an exige , this time supercharged but they also seem to be rising in cost , plus the mrs really doesn't approve :x

T350 ?.......I just don't have the balls .

What else ? 2 seats ? I'm lost ....

I can see me hanging on to my Z4MC until I can afford an AMV8.

In my opinion , these cars (MC in particular) should be demanding better figures .

Can't think of anything I want that doesn't cost 20k more either. Only the E92 but it's more suited to all round duties and isn't as special.

Yeah, I'd love another step up, but nothing this side of a very quick Exige (20k easy), 996 turbo (25k) or such like will do it after this. And I can't afford those! 1-M would be nice when they hit 20k!!

I drove an AMV8 roadster last year for the first time for 1/2 day, as part of a driving experience gift, alongside an R8. I drove down there in the Z4MC to make it a full on 'supercar' weekend! I found the Aston a bit disappointing to drive, especially the engine and the driving position. Lovely looking car, very handsome in a classic way, and sounds very nice on part throttle, but the driving experience was a bit flat compared to the MC. The R8 was much better, awesome engine, similar in character to the S54. Not knocking the Aston as an object to covet, but the engine felt ordinary after the S54. Still love my MC, drove it on Monday for the first time in a while, god it's fast when you push it!

Have heard similar comments before ....but i think its probably one of the best looking cars around and THAT exhaust note!

I've never really been sold on the way the R8 looks , Id have an exige again in a minute .

No question that the Z4 M is the currently best value on the planet in terms of looks/performance/price/reliability.
