No.1 people are people and whether they use a forum or not you should always be careful.

No.2 to just warn us that some people are unscrupulous, well yeah that's obvious. You should either not post the obvious or actually tell everyone what to be careful about.

Thread is useless without some kind of detail. Two sides to every story and all that.

Bunker, I would put your side forward and then see if the other party has a view. Is there not a "dispute" section on this forum? On Mkivsupra.net, where I have spent most of my time, there is an open forum for disputes but only the parties involved and moderators can post. It means people can also read and work out who the T word is, if any.

However - not conclusive as the purchase in question could have been a private deal arranged at a meet perhaps ?
 
If someone acts outside the spirit and won't sort it then name, shame, warn others and potentially get some leverage. It also allows the seller to give their side, at the moment you aren't doing anyone any favours including yourself.
 
Yes, come on Bunker, it's time to sh1t or get off the pot. If there is a Forum Member who has acted like a member then we need to know about it so we are not at risk of suffering as you have.

Sometimes transactions do go bad but you never know it might help you sharing the facts with us as a bit of peer pressure can go a long way.

Indeed, Bunker has been online today also, I guess his assertion (as below), wasn't that genuine....
