Not had much Luck Today

Had a mare of a day with the zed today, first off my n/s wing mirror glass fell out and smashed on the floor and then about 5 mins later i put up the drivers window it made a crunching noise and now the the motor is spinning and the window is not moving and has not pushed up when i shut the door to seal with the roof.

Does any body know the cost of a new mirror and possibly window motor and is the window motor an easy job that i could do myself

Sounds like a duffer of a day. I assume the two are not related, just a bad coincidence. :(

Total coincidence, its bad enough that i've got to tax it this month and then mot next... grrrrrr
 
You can get window regulator repair kits, (the cable drive bits) from ebay for about £50 and a used window motor for about £20.

Wing mirror glass shouldn't be too bad £10 maybe.

I feel your pain fella as both of my window regulators have recently packed up. I've bought a repair kit off eBay but it looks like something from a Krypton Factor round. :?
