Thank you buddy - a day polishing and a bit of fettling has revealed what is a completely standard, non molested car. It's been serviced on time, had money spent on it and nothing has been dismantled etc. There's no sign of rattles in the interior. It really is an original car! Even I was surprised by the results of claying and a bit of polish!!

No plans to mod her mate, the only possible addition might and I say might, be a ZHP gear knob.
 
Very nice Simon! Didn’t realise you were looking to change. But that engine is immense so you’ve made the right choice, looks a minter!

Don’t suppose you have those coilovers lying around that I ferried back from Bedford? :rofl:

I wasn't mate but I got a great offer on my car that was hassle free so I did the man maths and took the plunge.

Unfortunately the coilovers went with the car.
