(With apologies to @eddietiv1 for the shameless thread title theft; Edit: and then I failed to comprehend East vs West anyway. West Midlands.)

Hi.

Recently worked out I've bought a convertible about every 5 years since passing my test, and as that happens to coincide with this year thought I should keep the pattern going. It'll be a third car, and I've always liked the Zed cars but was surprised to find them squarely in my budget. (Surprising, because the budget was sod all.)

Picked her up this morning, couple of cosmetic issues, an airbag light illuminated and the passenger seat heater not working which just means things for me to fix. Excellent. Lovely smooth drive home through the countryside lanes, really going to enjoy this one I think.

(And yes, first job after getting home was removing the erroneous M badge adorning the front grille. :headbang:)

My other half has just pointed out an epic failure in my sense of geography; we live in the West Midlands :oops:

I don't really have a defence for that; although my current employer is based in the East Midlands so I'm across once a month or so anyway.

Ah, I collected the car from Cheshire where they have actual roads 😛 Back to dodging the potholes as soon as we crossed the border 🙄

Hi and welcome to the forum.

It might have been easier to just say the Midlands.

Anyway hopefully you can get those niggles sorted out and enjoy your Z4 even more. :driving:
