So not dead but been absent from the forum.

All was OK - wrapping up a contract in Ireland, a week in Spain on holiday, then start a new 'big' job in Europe.

Landed in Spain, followed (unknown to me despite being really observant), car electronically opened and lost laptop ipad, cash etc. when I stopped for 10 minutes,. Car relocked electronically and they left my passports- thanks.
Next day went down with mega Manflu, while trying to sort the issue, police reports, changing every password, bricking the ipad, etc.
Returned to UK and father on deathbed so needed major attention for 2 weeks
Started new job and been flying all over Europe while trying to get new phones, laptop, ipad, etc. making insurance claims, sorting father and a new job.

Boy - I really felt like dying...

All sorted now...
Father coming out of hospital albeit not that good
Insurance upgraded all my kit and paid out
Had a week working in Lisbon working so bit of sun

Staggering how quick life can turn....

Blinking eck mate you have had a painful few weeks there.

Hope the nice weather gives you a reason to get out on a blast in the open air.

:)

Sorry to hear that - makes you paranoid forever more (speaking from experience). Makes you lose trust in anyone and everyone as well.

Good luck with the recovery from the mega flu as well.

oh dear, hopefully you've had all your bad luck in 1 hit and its all good news from now on :)

Sorry to hear of your bad luck, you never know what's round the corner but glad you've turned it now. :)

Action packed would be an understatement and I wouldn't want anyone to go through that intensity for a month.

Of course family is the most important thing and the rest is just 'noise', but it's draining and time sapping.

Wow.

Makes you realise what's important eh :) Glad things look to be at least better now than 'that' day.

Wow, what a nightmare :o

Delighted to hear you're through it though, and back with us

Some times it's not so good to be busy. Good to here things are getting back to normal. Hope your dad continues his recovery. Recomend you get the Zed out and just drive it.

Thank goodness you're through that intense period. Makes you realise how lucky you are when you read through something like this - all the best :o

Sounds like a nightmare scenario .Good news your farther is on the mend and you managed to come through it with your sanity intact.
