Not allowed to dive in at the swimming baths

It's a long time since I visited the a public baths in this country.

Tonight I thought I'd go and have a bit of a swim. I was shocked to find myself being told off for diving in, and told that it was completely prohibited unless I was either taking a swimming lesson or a member of the swimming club involved in a training session.

I was in a lane all to myself as it was not busy, and I dived in at the deep end.

Is this really how bad things have got in this country these days,..is this normal across the country,..or is it just my local batsh that is retarded ?

they were just concerned cos your trunks kept coming down when you were diving in, understandable i thinks :)

If there is any truth in your statement I think it would be more like jealousy than concern on their part. 8)

and you wonder why they requested that you desist! :D

Pillocks, when I was a lad ( yes I know, a VERY long time ago) ,we always used to dive in.Health n Safety tw*ts........

It has nothing to do with the Health and saftey laws I was a H & S inspector for many years before I retired. The reason is that the compensation cult from the USA has arrive and people such as local councils and the like are scared stiff of being sued so they ban everything in sight and hang it on H & S. You see many examples of this each day in the press and on TV. The H & S acts were not ment to be used like this but to help save lives and prevent injury in the working envirolment. People who use the laws in this way are just incompetent rectums who are not worth the wages they get. :x
