Not a happy Mrs

So when we bought MrsG her little Mx5 it had few marks on the door. Then lock down happened so it was last week that we finaly got them all sorted and a very happy MrsG could enjoy her pristine Mx5.

Yes you guessed it.............................

Today some selfish D#ck head has opened a car door into her door and marked the paint, right in the middle of the drivers door, where you can't help but notice it. :headbang: :headbang: :headbang: :headbang:

It will be back to the paint shop tomorrow and hopefully it will polish out this time and she can enjoy it for a lot longer before it happens again.

Nightmare.
...And once its back you can teach her the virtues of defensive and distant parking,

My thought immediately but, there is always the dick who appears from nowhere

Round here Sainsbury’s seem to put more dents in cars than anywhere else..grockles just opening doors till they hit something..then people squeezing over mirrors etc and strange elliptical scratches...not that I’m bitter n twisted..

if you park on the end of a row, you at least reduce the risk by 50%

I imagine "Not a happy Mrs" is a bit of an understatement - I'd be f***ing fuming.

It's a shame there seem to be so many scumbags around these days. :headbang:

I hope there is a fairly simple fix.

Reminds me of when the Mrs went out in our 1st e89 parked it up and when she came back to it had been keyed on the door and rear panel :headbang: :headbang:

Booked in for next Thursday, sounds like it will need paint. I just asked them to please sort it and tell me what it cost when done. A happy Mrs is priceless. Fortunately it's a great little local family run paint shop, who I have been using for many years, so very understanding.

We had a similar issue with my wife's little Peugeot soon after she got it. Fortunately, the dent didn't break the paint and we got one of these mobile dent remover guys to fix it. You can't tell where the dent had been after he finished.

Sorry to here that its so annoying when you care about your car and not helped with the size of some parking spaces that i have used you do well not to touch the car next you and then have to carefully squeeze out of your car and i am a skinny old git.

Bromley shopping centre put in an extra space years ago by making the rest smaller
