Not a happy bunny

On my way home from work at just gone 6 this morning some half asleep lobotomized chip in a POS corsa decides not to use the outside lane to go round the roundabout but to go straight across instead. The only problem is I'm in the inside lane, I swerve to avoid a crash but now have two nicely curbed alloys :x :x :x

:headbang:

Did the idiot even apologise or acknowledge what you had to do?

Hope it isnt too expensive to fix, might be worth getting your wheel alignment and tracking done too incase this knocked it out.

I'm not even sure he even saw me. I wouldn't care I was side by side with him at the time not just a bit of an overlap.

I was going the tracking checked last week, glad I didn't now.

Sorry to hear that Dave... happens all the time. I don't know why people have such problems staying in their lane on roundabouts. Just makes it worse that he was blissfully unaware of what he'd done...

Hope you get them fixed OK

I empathise completely. The first week I had my car I was turning right on a roundabout and someone in the left hand lane took "staight over" a little too literally and sent me up the roundabout kerb to avoid a collision, resulting in a nice bit of kerbing on two otherwise unmarked wheels. Arses the lot of them :)

Glad to hear its only the alloys :) if not too bad you get them touched up depending on the colour

Makes you wonder if letting them hit you would be better off. The repairs would be paid for and they'd get a hellish insurance premium. What a PITA though

Perhaps you should take this as an opportunity to upgrade the wheels... turn a negative into a positive?

yeah ! how about some 18inch MV2's ? 8) open to offers ? :)

Thanks for the offer but a bit too late I'm afraid. I did try to buy some MV2's just before I bought the M alloys but the guy was a k**b and kept messing me about.
