A norwegian racing driver, Stian Sørlie, also named "rookie of the year" in the VLN (German Long distance racing Championship) last year, is climbing the divisions and going to drive a modified Z4M Coupe with "Team Schübert" for the 2008 year races, including VLN on the Nürburgring Nordschleife and several 24 hours races on the Nürburgring, Spa, Silverstone and in Dubai. Should he win a medal in any of these races he would be the first norwegian to do so.

The car is has a modified engine doing 420 ps and reduced weight, below 1000 kgs and a reported 300+ km top speed. Unfortunately I have no further details on the car itself. Here are some photos.

Good luck Stian!!!!!

EDIT: Found out the engine has been tuned to achieve at least 420 ps

Nice... you're now not the only M owner in your country.

Well, he's not technically the owner of the vehicle :P :poke:

To put things straight, I know there are at least two M Coupes, but I'm pretty sure I'm the only M roadster owner . . .
Would have been fun if they turned up here, so we could have a meeting and some fun cruising
