Hello, picking up my first Z4 later today, its an older model 2.0ltr wanted economy and something a bit more fun. I look forward to exploring the forum and picking up some advice. Cheers Hebbs
 
Hi again, it was a lovely drive home with the top down :) only one snag I think its in transport mode as the AC light isn't working and the fan only has one speed!! I stopped just short of getting home to take these :) she's old but drove very well :)

Hi and welcome. :thumbsup:

Sounds like you have got the transport mode issue - it tends to happen when the battery gets low.

Sadly you need BMW diagnostics to delete it - hope you can get it sorted. :thumbsup:
 
Hello Mr Tidy, yeah hopefully it is just that, its a 57 plate, I spoke with an independent BMW specialist and he said it could be the aircon compressor>>>I have it booked in for a diagnostics test on Wednesday with them so fingers crossed.
 
Car is at the garage, it is in transport mode as suggested, they've also found the fan not to be working, possibly a fuse or worse case the unit. either way they have said its a very clean car for what I paid for it. :) :driving:
 
well that was a result, it was just a loose wire for the fan, air con fully working now and the fan too. :)

By any chance did you see a Maldives blue Z4 pulling onto the A45 just as you came off it last night at about 6:15?

lol was just going to ask the same I was heading home had top up tho as had just been to Coop and only had a short drive back.

I can only assume you shall be at the classic car and bike meet on the 7th of August :-)
