North Yorkshire Meet 1st March

There's a group of over 20 cars going for a drive, route probably Stokesley to Whitby on the first of March, whcih is a Sunday

It's a mix of Porsche's , TVR's, S2000's, Lotus and few others thrown in for good measure.

There's at least two M cars so far and a 135I, to up hold the BMW end

Members from Piston Heads, S2Ki and Z4-forum so far

Should be an interesting mix of people and motors
 
if someone gets the link onto the tt forum i rec we could get a whole host of extra numbers. Im in for the z team!

Hope to be there, although it's a fair drive from Liverpool so I'll wait to see what the weather is gonna be like before commiting.Looks like a great mix of cars from the list on the S2000 forum. Must bring my camera

I guess it's probably a 2 hour drive. I'd be going, but I've got other commitments already.

Thanks Norman, nice to see my car picked out from the other exotica! :D
It was a great day and it's a real pity that there's been some criticism from the S2000 site about some of the driving- a certain black Z4M seems to have upset a few :)
To be honest I tend to agree that overtaking when in 'convoy 'unless invited to do so should be a 'no no' as it always hacks off other drivers. Ironically I saw someone complaining who were themselves driving far too close to the car in front when we went over the moors at a good pace. Easy to see fault in others but ignore it in yourself!!
 
That would be me lol :D

tbh I don't care in the least, some of them were just unhappy they were overtaken by a far superior machine 

S2000 owners don't seem to mind being overtaken by Honda's but soon as a Z4M coupe overtakes them it's the end of the world :oops:

I’ve got loads of footage of mad overtakes from S2000 owners, but I’m not interested in proving hypocrisy
