North West / Wales August

What are thoughts on another (my first) North West / Wales run in August - Sat 20th or Sun 21st?

Could incorporate camping in Snowdonia or make it a day trip.

Thinking incorporating A55 - great tunnels at Conwy - for those with noisy exhausts ;-)

Cut down the A5 through Snowdonia, poss overnight near Betws with bbq - onwards towards Llangollen, Horseshoe pass & back up towards Chester way.

Let me know if interested & will start a list - hopefuly weather will be great, but either way some of the best driving roads in the UK!
 
Ok somewhat optimistic & starting a list!

At this stage Sat 20 & Sun 21, but we can decide format / route once we get above 6/7 yes's!

-Wills
-Tweed
-Woots
-Sammyz

Come on people, clear blue skies, straight 6 noise bouncing of the mountains, sheep & a few beers / bbq if we make a weekend of it...before you know it, it will be dark by 4pm so make the most of it!
 
Sounds great but me and newbie jaRED otherwise engaged w/e 21. Have fun and post pictures (and do another one later in Sept - after Islay)
 
Pfft you'd have to choose the weekend when i'll be in Las Vegas wouldn't you :roll: Otherwise i'd have been well up for it.

As one of the premier members of the now infamous YNSC (aka Yorkshire No Show Crew), I'd take any proposal of Lucy's attendance with a pinch of salt lads! :-P

Ooh get you :p - please edit post to read south Yorkshire no show crew - us west Yorkshire folk are far more reliable!
