No worries api330
Sure there will be a next time

Dragon had been recommended to me a couple of times as well, but not tried it and I'll be eating at the royal oak on the friday so will be a change, unless mmm-five fancies f&c in Barmouth friday night so we can have a blast while roads are quite :driving:

Sounds like a good plan.

F&C by the seaside at -10ºC is always a welcome experience - and I'll bring my catapult to either keep the seagulls/pigeons away or to fire chips at them.

I've got a catapult some where, I'll dig it out and my crab line, caught loads of crabs at Barmouth crab & chips
Let me know what your plans are for the Friday as I'll be doing Aberystwth so I could get back to B&B and meet you if you're not too late.

Plan is to finish work (at home) by 4pm and then head over to Betws-y-Coed. So should be there about 5:45pm which gives me enough time to check in and get to Barmouth by about 7pm.

I might be able to escape earlier if I need to, but I'll have to negotiate it with the project team beforehand, as there's always something coming up on a Friday afternoon with a deadline of Monday morning :x

Another alternative is to meet in Barmouth, which saves either of us diverting through ByC - and means I could be in Barmouth by 6:30pm.

We'll sort it on the day, but we've got ourselves a plan. So if anyone else fancies fish & chips friday night in Barmouth, just let us Know

I've rinced a tank today just driving to Lytham and back and messing about a bit haha... It's full of z4s round there but no one flashes back.

I'll still be going so see you there!

Anyone thinking of joining us over the weekend there will be a drive Sat and Sun leaving from the lay by opposite the The Swallow Falls Hotel Betws-y-coed, 9.30am for 10am drive both days.

Is everyone from the cancelled weekend coming on this, or are the numbers much lower?

I'll PM you my phone number so we can synchronise our F&C meet on Friday.

Bugger, look what I was presented with at 5am this morning (photo taken this evening in London).

Got it booked in for a new screen on Friday morning, so fingers crossed all will be fine.

Silver lining #1: The windscreen was full of tiny stone chips after 83k miles and would have been replaced by me anyway by the end of the year.
Silver lining #2: The fitters have said the screen with the green sun-band across the top was easier to get, so would fit that for me instead of the plain one.
