:rofl: I did think it odd there being a Shanghai theme hotel in Snowdonia. The Free Banquet did spark my interest though!

I got the prices @ £30 pnpp 2 night stay
£34 pnpp 1 night stay
£38 pnpp single
All accommodation in Betws-y-coed stipulate you have to book a 2 night stay over a weekend, but managed to persuade The Dragon with a £624 carrot!!
We could move back to the Glenwood if we all wished, as they have apologised and made available the family room at NO extra cost!!

BTW, for anyone searching google maps for it, you'll have to move west along the A5 about 150 metres or so from where the postcode sets you down.
 
Well I'll not be staying over afterall but I may still pop along for a drink and a cruise about... are the where from and to and when's all set in stone now?

For anyone who needs petrol, Optimax/V-Power is available just over the bridge as you enter the 30mph limit into Betws-y-Coed from the south...

Arrgh really sorry. I have just had an email from a German friend and an American friend saying they would like to meet up at our house that weekend. I haven't seen them for several years and I said I would be delighted to put them up.

I had bought our maps for the walks as well. :headbang:

I hope you all have an excellent time and I will pop back for the photos.

We were looking forward to meeting you all. (oddly 'her indoors' was keen too, I must have been lying about how nice you all are)
