Woots, perhaps you'd better wear a nappy before you have a go in an 'M'. If you're going to wee yourself thinking about the meet you may do a lot worse when you're in the 'M' :)

siftah, what channel did you say, i've forgot

Count the wheels on the road, add to the number of cylinders in the engine, divide by the number of seats in the cabin then minus the number of steering wheels.

That number, that's the channel! :)

Make's it a pain with woots 4 pot :P we could have just done a 6xNumber, now we have to do a 6xnumber of 6 pots + 4 Pots minus 2" of wheels.

hahaha only messing with you woots :P

I'd like a run in an M too, id also like a race with one legally of course :D to see the diff. Though Dave's at the North East meet made mine look crap parked up! And with his sneaky comments of his auto leveling headlights and auto foldy up wing mirrors! I've never looked at my Zed the same since lol!

Lol, I'll stick a stack of my CD's on the passenger seat of your car (should keep all 4 wheels on ground) :P Atleast you got the cute "status" off Lucy I got nothing :P LMAO I am well hurt lol!

Damn - I wish I were going on this one as the last was sooooo good.

Still I'm on a Jeep event next weekend in Wales. Toaday has been a tough one prepping:
Both props off to grease the cardan joints
All 4 hubs off to fit new bearings
Engine and oil filter change
Front and rear diff oil change
All 4 tyres broken off the beads to clean clay out and reseat (thanks to my local tyre specilaist)
Batteries removed and a worn out one replaced. Total 1500 cca of power now!!!
Winch cable respliced where I snapped it off
New 6 hp front winch motor fittted

Any surprise I shattered??

Why I need to prep it....

You're a nutter CJ!

It's a damn site safer than 'gentle' cruise along the lanes of Wales

Yeah spesh when ur trying to keep up with the 4 cylinders!!
AHAHAHAHAHAH
Still think u should just come to this meet rather than checking out the dogging spots in ur jeeps..

You shoud try it sometime Woots - Jeepin' that is. Could show you how a couple of decent motors run. A small 4L straight 6 and and the slightly larger 5.7L V8. Still bot run on 15" rims so you'd be in good company :poke:

No doggin' at this event I'm afraid, but there is a nightclub at the hotel where we stay that buses in the young chicks. As slightly older and perceived wealthier and 'big engined guys' we do pretty well and have to leave some girls for you locals.....

i nearly got into the jeep thing 6 or 7 years ago, i used to take my lad to a quarry with his quad bike, £4 for the day, there were also trials bike and jeeps there, it looked brilliant

i have started a post about getting a motorbike, perhaps I should ditch that idea and get a 4x4 and try this off roading, I can imagine it being quite an expensive hobby though

I'll post on your motorbike thread and let Woots get back to his fantasy world and the thread back on track

Are there many places that let you use a quad bike for this sort of amount? No legal places to use one around these parts, but wouldn't mind travelling and would love to get a quad!

i may too be up for this although the 4.5hr drive is not ideal as i'm travelling from south - quite like the idea of a hotel and one or two

Flatout, where in the south are you coming from? If you're heading in the Henley direction you're more than welcome to stop by here for a "cuppa" before starting on the next stint.

Peddy, you still on for going up Saturday? Looks like I'll be leaving from Henley.

I'll give the hotel a shout and see about rooms. Anyone else fancy heading up / down the night before?

Nope, still here!

Pity CJ is missing this one. I'll be looking to get confirmations from all that are going early next week. The usual form, p.m. me a mobile and real name and I'll p.m. my details back.

I'll be starting from Liverpool at 8 30ish for the Mersey tunnel run. That should wake me up!

Any that want to come along can arrange a meet up with me. Fingers crossed for some decent weather. :)
