I'm either going to do it all in a day (not really ideal), or look to stay over somewhere a bit nearer on the Saturday - either a hotel somewhere, or with friends in Nottingham. Unless a local Z4-Forum'er fancies putting a few Southerners up!

I'd be up for setting off the night before if there is a few of us and the hotel prices are reasonable.
Im happy to put some people up from the far north/south east if they are in need. Only if they (and Lucy) are up for a night on the sauce in Sheffield before though

Snake Pass - M60 - M56 (80 miles, 1:45)
or my personal fave, a mini Peak District warmup jaunt:
Bakewell - Monyash - Buxton - Cat & Fiddle, the most dangerous road in Britain before they put SPECS camers on to ruin all our fun! :'( - Knutsford - M6 - M56 (83 Miles, 2:00)

When will you guys know if you'll be travelling from Bristol/Nottingham?
Peddy, should hopefully know by next weekend - is a friend's 40th soon but not sure when he's celebrating.
I've just confirmed a night out in Nottingham - so I won't be joining the hotel gang. However, I'm happy to meet anyone on the Sunday AM who's going to be travelling from that region. Might be easy for me to hook up and follow the Sheffield lot... not sure what my route will be to the meeting point from Notts yet.
