North Wales Run Sunday 10th April

Z8 cookie, we'll be meeting at 10.00am for a coffee in Starbucks Queensferry and getting under way about 10 30.

Here's a few pictures of mine from the one last year. Hopefully these will tempt a few more members along

Yay my plan worked! :D

Fantastic, Nick. Glad to have you on board

Photos have now made it 99.99% Yes!

And, liking the black lower part of the front spoiler on the Red Z. Is that painted, or wrapped? Quite fancy that look!

That's SammyZ's zed, so you can look at your leisure - I think it's carbon wrapped IIRC.

p.s. Is the Z8 in your title aspirational, or a reality - and if the latter can I have a go

I can't wait to show you northern shandy drinkers how to drive a sports car :driving:

Well 2 x Z4 = Z8 :)

Great pics Lucy hope the weather is as kind this year.

Front and rear rails are wrapped in plain black with matching front grills. I'm thinking of re-doing them in CF wrap as it's been on the car two years now and has a couple of stone chips on the front.

I will be P.M.ing people with phone number, details etc nearer the time but Starbucks Queensferry is just off the bypass..postcode.CH5 2NN.

Thats a good idea - aquazi you driving up from London? Or Derby?

I'm driving the day before for some work in Manchester, and then coming along, will be good to see you again. As much as it pains me, I'm not doing the hampshire run this time round, but as there are another couple for sure this year, it won't be too big a deal.

Really looking forward to this run out...

I have a birthday party the night before in Leicester... by googlemaps reconing it will take me 2h 20m to get there from Leicester... so a 10.30 start means i could leave by 8 and get there in time... which leaves plenty of time for :icb: the night before!!

Be good to see you again Nick.. and atleast i wont be the only southerner!

I've got 10 probables listed so far  and quite a few 'maybes'. See the list top of page 2 and apologies if you're on it and shouldn't be or not on it and want to be! :)

Let me know and I'll adjust as required.

Perfect. Booked hotel in Chester for the night before. At the new Abode Hotel by the racecourse. Anyone stayed there?

Never stayed there but I work in the HQ building across the courtyard and have been to the bistro down stairs in the Abode. All fairly agreeable. Underground car park populated with astons, bentleys, AMG mercs, porkers, a TVR and on weekdays my Z.

The place to eat at the mo in chester in MHO is oddfellows on bridge street. Nice atmosphere/decor with an amazing rump steak on the menu at the mo.

Any put me down for the run pls. Perhaps a drink or two the night before for anyone staying in/near chester?

You're on the list Danny  Looks like there will be 10-12 cars which will be a nice manageable number. Hope the weather is as good as this week. Scoped the route last weekend and can promise some great scenery, empty roads and good company.
