North Wales Run Sunday 10th April

Looks like a great day with some great roads and scenery, just hope I can the timing right one day so I can make a Welsh run.

Thanks again to Sammyz for organising it and for everyone else for making me n' vic feel so welcome. She had reservations but was glad to see some other partner passengars and can't wait for the next one now. Excellent vid by the way Adam.

You are probably all sick of them, but eventually here are the pics vic took using (for the first time Snap!) the SLR.

Wish I'd been able to come guys, looks like another amazing day out!

Who's got the Toledo Blue? Thought I was the only one with Toledo to have shown up to a run before! :D
I am the one.

Every journey begins with a single step (on the loud pedal  )

Will edit and upload some more tomorrow evening, great video of the causeway and some fun twisties that followed thereafter for the breakaway group of four  Also found a memorable moment where a disgruntled yokel in his van took objection to being overtaken by 3 Z4M's whilst making good progress - Colin could you hear him moaning when we paused at the lights? - it was early on in the day hehe

Some great pics and vids

especially impressed with the ones taken by the other halfs who have never used an SLR before!!

Danny, I have more videos of your coupe but decided to splice two clips together for some of the more interesting bits, some good twisties  :driving: Took ages to upload! Its a bit slow going and scenic to 2:30 when we turn off and open the taps a little. I'll upload the others now which show your car a bit closer :D

Enjoy!

Great thanks. Don't go to too much trouble. Just wanted to be able to give a link to my dad so he can see the car. (lives abroad). Cheers.

Mate these are cracking photos - nice to see some faces / people in some of them too. Glad everyone had fun, and fellow members of the exclusive coupe club will have to try to do better next time - no e89s this time either (they don't know what they're missing)
Can't wait for Skye now!

Some great photos there, Aquazi and Dannyd - amazing shots for a first timer on an SLR! Really good to see some shots with a completely different look and feel!

AdamD - those videos are great! How embarassing that you roared past me right from the beginning  Although I had no idea what kind of pace to expect!

Oh, and I forgot to thank Maxman for making sure I didn't get lost at the back!

Hehe I wasn't intending to roar past you but felt like I had a bit of catching up to do when I realised I was the back of the queue leaving starbucks, then we got knackered at the roundabout by traffic and a ice cream van -I kept looking back to try and keep you in view if we were making a turning 8) Its never good to be near the back if you don't know where your going

Sorry we didn't chat in person, your zed looked great btw, until recently I had a 3.0 in titanium silver and it was the M's first use in anger - still adjusting to the steering  - how long have you had it for?

No problem,i dident want you want you getting lost on the moors around LLan FFestiniog as its pretty remote up there.
I dont know how many people took sutch good photos at the the speeds we were going especially Aquazi who was on his own.

I can understand, AdamD - if I had an M, I would want to open the taps a little too! I've only really had my Z for a couple of weeks. It's been in and out of the dealers workshop having a few things checked. So you can imagine I'm trying to get used to it still, but the North Wales run certainly made me learn a lot about the car very quickly! :D

Thanks, Maxman. My girlfriend was complimenting you too, saying how nice you were to wait for us and signal which way to turn! Aquazi is definitely one talented guy - multitasking at speed and able to take some great photos!
