Taz - My wife really enjoyed it and has been looking up 'Z4s for Hire' on google at lunchtime so that all 4 of us can come next time Still working on getting a second Z (quite fancy Texasjohn's Sepang MR!)

Women, eh? My girlfriend took exception to the speed I deemed to be reasonable in the Alps a couple of weeks ago.
She was good enough to video my 2nd/3rd gear redline antics through the mountains tunnels though and I can't begin to imagine the phenomenal sound of 23 Zeds passing through the tunnels of Wales :evil:

Id get a 4/5L bottle mate, the 1L ones could get expensive if the cars thirsty!

Opie oils do good prices on various brands od bmw aprvd ll-04 oil (eg.5w 30,etc),in 1 ltr and 4/5ltr packs (blue)

for those who took female friends/partners etc, what was their comments - be honest

My wife very much enjoyed it(even if she did get tired and a bit cranky towards the end,lol),and particularily the bit of road before tunnels,with the wall at side,where mine,sammyz,andys and cj's z,s all made a lovely sound at same time. she also liked going over the evo triangle,in aftn,at a good speed,taking off at 1 point :evil: ;and going thru the tunnels too .
She said she would def attend another meet in the future,and who knows,she might get along,as she wasnt too bad a passngr

I'm thinking of ordering from them actually Craig, just to check, the Z needs Fully Synth 5W30 yes? I think it's got Castrol SLX Long Life in there now as that's what the local dealers use. I went to buy some earlier but couldn't find the manual (had left it in the house for some reason!) so decided to leave it until I can check before committing!

not sure if all models,but the 3.0's use 5w 30,Blue/and i am sure the 2.5's are the same.
if you check opies aprvd forum/club discount they have bmw carclub and various forums discounts,so z4-forum mt be among them?

5W30 it is then. I'll check the oil tomorrow properly with the dipstick, the last time the light came on I was only half way to the minimum, if it's too close then I'll top up before heading to Manchester tomorrow with something from Halfords, if I've got leeway then I'll order a few litres from Opie or Costco if they have it in.

special mention to the bloke in the 58-plate Z4MR who was suddenly confronted by 23 Z4's coming in the other direction, prompting him to flash his lights at all of us !

It has to be a real 'WTF' moment to be driving along a Welsh lane to be confronted by a stream of Zeds blasting along in the opposite direction

Hi All, your damn right it was a 'WTF' moment - but brilliant to see, wanted to turn around and catch up but there isn't many places around the lanes to do a swift U'turn and the tyres are a bit expensive for a handbrake turn me thinks :lol: hoping to catch you on the next run.
