Some nice cars going then! GT3 vs GTR would be interesting...Peppermint I'm sitting on the fence right now as I'm not sure if i'm in town that weekend. If I am...I'll be in touch

I'd love to come to this, but why so early in the morning?? some of us still go out on Saturday night you know!! :P

EDIT: Peppermint, how come you have 2 coupes? why not at least a Roadster?

I'm a REAL newbie, picking up my 2.0iSE 2moro (so today feels very much like Xmas eve 1972!!). Camberly aint too far for me (Richmond) so I do fancy popping along and meeting you all (&finding out if I can get a set of tyres for sub £800 & where the best german specialist is). Would my 13 year old son be welcome as co-pilot??

You'll want to ditch the runflats as normal tyres offer much better handling on the zed. Check out falken 452s which most forum users use and come way under your budget. I'm sure any passengers are more than welcome and no age restrictions. Welcome to the forum! Get some pics posted in the newbies section :)

Hardly any other road users at that time in the morning.

It's a PITA getting up early, but it's well worth it when you see the sun rise and not a car in sight :driving:

You want to get a set of Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta's,all round. much better alternative to the falkens, that tend to wear out quicker, and have worse wet grip when half worn(onwards),compared to the verd's,imo(and many others).
U can get a set from either Camskill or Elite direct, for around £440 for all 4; 18inch 225 ,40x18 and 255 ,35x18(rear),as an idea of cost. Great tyres ,and a big improvement in ride qaulity from the runflats

would night cruises not be a good idea as well? I'd personally quite like to have a late one (something like meeting at 11pm and going for a drive an hour later or so), compared to an early bird one. Anyway, count me in for this one - Z4 Coupe 3.0si

I guess not due to visibility etc? You'd want it to be light surely? Well, I would anyway 8)

does this type of meet become more competetive than an all zed meet?

my logic behind the question: when on an all zed meet, i know both the M and the manual are faster than me, so there is no point in being competitive - nothing to prove

I won't be competing, more than happy to sit out the back while the GT3 and GTR lead the way. Go at your own pace and enjoy it :driving:

visibility can be better at night - at least you should be able to see on coming cars from their headlights...

corner entry speed harder to judge though...
