Heya, folks.

This Seattle boy just got back from a trip visiting my sweety in Georgia, and I just thought I'd drop a line to say to fire-n-ice and all the Georgia contingent that you guys have some GREAT ROADS out there! We took the scenic route from Athens to Nashville, and man o man, you guys have some sweet asphalt! The leaves were changing color nicely too. Simply gorgeous. I was jonesing for my Z, I gotta say.

Made me think, Hmmm... maybe moving to Georgia wouldn't be all that bad? I might could develop a taste for grits, brunswick stew and collard greens, but those roads: you betcha!

BTW... I wish I could loan you all this rain we've been having in the Northwest. Serious business down there. YIpes!

Nice to hear you had a good time.

Gee, with the amount of driving you've done this year, I wonder if you're due for your Inspection-I yet.

Geez,,,made it down here and didn't even bother to let us know????? We would at least bought you a beverage and regaled you with stories of misadventure :D

gosh, i thought he was gonna say he was engaged....we've lost him to that Georgia gal. But seriously glad you're healthy and happy.

I feel bad for people that never made it to Europe/Germany 8)

Funny you should mention that. My Georgia peach and I were discussing a trip to Europe just last night. I lived in Germany as a young teen, and always wanted to visit that little town again. Plus, I met a lady in Yellowstone that told me she'd rented a Z4 in Germany. That could be fun.

Blusie: Glad you had a nice time, and love our State! Congratulations on meeting a sweetie here, the people are wonderful. We'd love to have you live here, it's a beautiful state with a lot to offer. Hope you can one day Georgia your home

Thanks, F-n-I. One thing I can say is that most of the Georgians I've met are ... ummm... "less inhibited" than the typical yankee. Maybe it's the contrasting Bible-belt repression that just makes folks wilder. Or maybe it's the Southern hospitality thang. I dunno. But you're right. The people are great.

Yokel: (noun) A person who is not very intelligent or interested in culture. AKA: bumpkin; chawbacon; hayseed; hick; rube; yahoo

I've lived in 3 country's and two US Territories, I'm an Army brat, a Paramedic, Police Office and Firefighter, I speak two languages and graduated at the top of all my classes with a 98% being the lowest - I'm an assistant instructor at the Fire Academy and have a multitude of other talents I won't bore you with. I know it ain't much and I'm bluecollar, but it's a far cray from 'yokelism' . C'mon ducks, you can do better then that . Why you hatin'?
