North East Meet?

Choose an appropriate Hotel and ask them to reserve X rooms, then give the interested parties a drop dead booking date! (Directly with the hotel)
It’s often good to be billeted with the rest of the group that you’ve travelled with during the day for dinner and drinks.
 
This sounds great. Wife and I would be very interested in doing both. Staying in a B&B would be nice, and lets hope for a rain free weekend.

Hi Eddy,

Providing the dates work for me I would be interested in joining for a drive although I probably won't stay over as I live close to the Moors. I'll keep an eye out and will let you know when you have some plans.

Firstly my apologies for not progressing any further with a north east meet.... Circumstances have conspired against me as explained below:

I slipped on some black ice 5 weeks ago and broke my shoulder blade - It's only just starting to be comfortable again!

Secondly, my partner became Ill last week and had to undergo emergency surgery on her abdomen, having part of her bowel removed with only a 50/50 chance of surviving the operation. She has been in a medically induced coma for the last 5 days. Her kidneys aren't functioning so she is on dialysis, and it's still touch and go if she will survive.

With all of that it's extremely unlikely that I will be able to organise anything this year...
