Could I hook up with guys if you'll be taking the A1 up North? I'll be joining at J35 but could wait somewhere further up.
 
I really wanna do this but it's 8hrs of driving at least there and back :thumbsdown: Will keep an eye on the weather.
 
I very much doubt I'll be able to make this one guys, will be on the sauce in Manc the night before :( Hope u all have a good run and drive safely. Lucy have u got someone to follow?!

I know this is short notice but im becoming increasingly concerned about the available parking at Leyburn, would it cause anyone a problem if we didn’t stop at Leyburn and headed to Masham instead, I know there is loads of space there as well as a little café/toilets etc.

From there head up to Northallerton, Scorton and back to Scotch Corner, it will add about 30mile and about 45mins to the drive.

Any objections let me know asap and I will keep to the original plan, imho it will be worth doing.

Ye cool with the amendment to the route the longer the better imo :thumbsup:
 
Nearly never had my car for Sundays run.
My car has been at the dealers since Tuesday getting the roof fixed and I they rang this afternoon saying it was still not 100% and can they keep it till next week.
Ye gods nooooooo I tell them. :o
So I have my car for now, don't know if the roof will work though and have to take it back next week. :x
Phew. :D

No rain tomorrow the BBC says so! Well maybe an odd shower in the hills!
Robb, I'm setting off at 7 going M6 then A66 so aim to get to Scotch Corner before 10. Will ring u if I hit a problem.
Masham is fine with me, will probably turn west from there and head home via Ingleton, fantastic road!

Just curious, I'll be heading South on the M6 then onto the A66 at Penrith, will you come that far North? aiming to get there about 08:30, If you fancy heading accross the 66 together.
