If the weather really turns against us I might bail on this, as don't really fancy a 700-800 mile round trip for a soggy day out in the dales... (sorry!).

If things stay dry at least though, then I'm there! :thumbsup:
 
I'm still up for this as long as the weather isn't really bad. Like Sixspeed it's a long way to drive if it rains all day :cry: I'll have to set off from liverpool about 7 ish to make Scotch Corner by 9 30. No beer Saturday night for me!!
 
Assuming the weather is ok, I'm definitely on for this at the moment and will be travelling up from Gainsborough in Lincs. Will anyone be passing through the M18/A1 interchange on route (J35 of A1)? Or even a bit further up the A1? Always more fun to travel in a convoy. :driving:
 
So who's actually going from Rotherham/Sheffield/Barnsley/Doncaster??
I could do with sorting something out. I don't know where i'm going :lol:

If no-one answers you Lucy its straight up the A1 to the A66 Junction and that's where were meeting.
 
Hey guys, i stuck a post up a little while ago for people going from the newcastle area.

so far i have:

Z4alfie (z4alfie - just wanna double check this is still right?) and grumpybri - washington/birtley services @ 08:45
Redzedfour and ronk- bowburn services @ 09:00 (what junction is this after?)

if anyone is planning to meet up somwhere along the a1 plaese post it up.if i go which i'm hoping to i'll be joining the a1 just after ferrybridge :thumbsup:
 
I'll probably be hitting the A1M J44 (just south of the A64 junction) at about 8:45am... since it's only about 45 mins from there to the destination at Scotch Corner at a nice 60-70mph cruise.

If I see any of you I'll wave :D

phew just had a panic on! forgot I had planned to take mi GF to train station and look after the kid on sunday but employed my parents to sort that little problem lol

Im still coming!, scotch corner is about 1 hour 10mins away from me up the A1 so we may see each other on the way up, unless people want to meet?

Lucy and Ed suggested Sainsburys next to meadowhall if anyone coming up M1 wants to meet there too?

BTW Lucy and Ed you coming?
