Got a couple of separate friends moving that weekend (both girls) so I may be needed to lend a bit of brawn... though, I'm not that brawny and can help on the saturday, so I'm in ;)

Single?... Well you go on the meet and I'll help out the ladies.

How's that sound?

heh, perhaps if we bring the meet to Manchester, we can all help them and get them moved in one fell swoop... 10 or so zeds should be enough to move a couple of girl's possessions, right?

crap, I forgot shoes... we're gonna need a lot more zeds!

Yeah cheers for the reminder Guiseley. Put me down as a maybe for this please guys :) Can't have you lot being outnumbered by 350z's now can I!!

Armoured Personnel Carriers more like - losing a womans shoes would be like, well, I don't even want to think about it...

i would possibly be up for it but i would have to check my availability tonight
If we're talking late teens or above, I'm calling dibs.
Sorry to disappoint, do I look old enough to have late teenagers as daughters? :x - I am really - they're 13 and off limits!! :)

Iv been massively busy with work recently so have been unable to give this the attention it needs, it is most definitely still on, I have a provisional route in my head so that will be sorted soon.

Robb - Great to hear - I'll start spamming those who came last time with PMs until they give in join in too! :chairfight:

 thats exactly why i said how old.

i thought if i have had said how young the tubleweeds :tumbleweed: would have been out and men in black coats would have been at my door :P

Cheers guys, thats starting to look a bit more like it for numbers, thanks for putting a pm about Guiseley much appreciated

Iv got a bit or a route planned, just need to run it by lexx and make sure there is enough provision for stops etc, may even talk timbo(clio) to come and scope it out one weekend.

I enjoyed the last meet but I think I'm a bit of a purist, if it was all z4's I'd be more up for it but will give this a miss I think.

i can't make it for other reasons but i think i would have similar view to this

Thats ok if its not going to be your thing although i cant say i really understand, afteral we are all car/driving enthusiasts and the chance to go out with a bunch of guys in cars that are so very similar to ours in many ways should be a cool experience, its very rare that there is a mix of Jap & German and i think it will be quite a spectacle .

Numbers looking good on this now guys

I cant htink of better way to put the miles on the car :D I'm gunna be wrecked after all that driving that weekend

Im with Robb on the comments above. I really don't understand that attitude. After speaking to the 350z people, they are all looking forward to it. Not one of them has backed out because of some sort of pureist belief.
It kinda saddens me that people who claim to be into cars, and the pursuit of good driving, are willing to miss out on a great day out simply becasue there are some "other" cars there.
I'm not saying this to evoke any kind of row, and if you feel you need to go run off to a moderator to complain about my comments, well thats your decision to make.
I'm a car enthusiast. Anyone who feels the same is more that welcome. My Ghod, at previous 350z meets I have had RX8's, Evo X's, and a flipping Mazda 6MPS!

For those of you who are coming, I look forward to meeting you all and having a good chat and making new friends.

Al

No problem - enjoyed the last one so much, didn't want to let an opportunity pass, by the way got negative replies from Ronk (back still preventing spirited driving) & Edetlm (might have got those random letters in the wrong order (sorry) he's out of the country) by PM. Look forward to showing some of your (our) beautiful count(r)yside to the Mancs who missed out last time. :driving:

Al - Look forward to meeting your chaps too - but it's also great to meet with with fellow Z4 drivers who you have contacted via the forum, but never met face-to-face, so I can understand their point of view. Don't take it as an insult :P we all have 'other' lives to lead too. Tony.

i'm not a car enthusiast at all, i drive every day and hate it, i do love my Z4 though

Hi All

I am a newbie Z4 owner, well i will be after Friday :-) Always had bikes but saving that lunacy for the track. Like the thought of a nice long drive with like minded people.

Is there any info on a likely starting point yet?

Hopefully you've now seen Rob's map linked on page 1 of this thread - Start point Scotch Corner. I'd had mine about a week when I went on the previous run too!All are welcome. Where are you travelling from - you might be able to travel in convoy. :driving:

You chaps coming in convoy? Detour via Guiseley is a big ask, but might see you on the A1 Northbound.

Numbers looking good now guys...22 cars
Assume normal attrition rates will apply - so hopefully get high teens - but 22 would be

I would say "yeah, sounds like a good idea"... but Siftah will probably still be in bed ;)
Good point - Maybe ask him to stay off the sauce the night before and we might not have to wait for him this time  If he does it twice in a row, we know he's a Diva at heart, and likes waiting for the audience to arrive before he shows himself :P

As you say mate, usual attrition rates will kick in soon. :tumbleweed:

I've mass spammed all those involved on 350z-uk, asking for confirmations. So should have a good ideas of numbers soon.

:driving:

Cheers Guiseley

I live in Malton, East of York. if anyone else is going from that direction let me know and head up together.
