Some Nic pics and tremendous view as always - hop the weather stays good

Yeah loads of them. Weather stayed great for Applecross today too. Scenery and views were spectacular

Looking great - will be doing the NC500 next year for certain

Cracking road trip this. If you ever wondered about whether or not to join one I'd thoroughly recommend it to you. This was my first one in the Zed and I'm hooked. Fantastic to let the cars have their legs(ahem) and combined with some of the UK's most amazing scenery and roads made for a memorable experience. Our cars were made for this.

If, like me, you not used to this type of driving you can rest assured that the more experienced go out of their way to ease you into it and whilst there was plenty of very spirited driving it always felt safe.

My thanks to Andy, Chris, Michael and their partners for the great company and a special shout out to Peter for putting the effort in to make it work so well

Can't beat a bit of NC500 :driving: :
Were you by any chance at A Rum distillery On Monday or Tuesday just gone?
One of my mates spotted a Maroon z that looks very like yours.
Hopefully see you at a meet sometime in the future
Oh,and yes, Michael and Julie are a lovely couple, very enjoyable company indeed.
(Haven't met Andy or Chris yet, as they're relatively new to the z meets, and haven't had the pleasure so far).
Looks like a he weather held for you,Vorwend.

Big thank you to pbondar for organising this great meet, we’ve had a brilliant three days driving and met some wonderful people, (hopefully meet up again some time soon), a few photos attached, if you haven’t already done the NC500 then it’s one to put on your bucket list.

Don't see may maroons but that wasn't me at the Rum distillery. The weather was really kind to us and I'm looking forward to another road trip. The journey home through Glen Coe was pretty good too - can't believe how uncluttered many of the roads up there are - a pleasure to drive :driving:

Great pictures , looks like a fabulous trip…I’ve added this to my bucket list…

I heard stories of heavy handed policing…how did you find that aspect?

Vornwend ‘ If, like me, you not used to this type of driving you can rest assured that the more experienced go out of their way to ease you into it and whilst there was plenty of very spirited driving it always felt safe.’

Was amused as to how they ‘eased you in’?

I dare hardly ask?

Haha, perhaps not the best description that  - what I meant was there were clear instructions on convoy driving etiquette and it was emphasised that everyone was free to make there own choice about speed and under no obligation to do otherwise. A simple thing that I found very helpful was when the car in front was overtaking they would stay out in the overtaking lane with indicator on while the road ahead was clear. When you encounter traffic the convoy does inevitably get split from time to time but this minimised it a lot.

We didn't have any issues with policing at all!

Its a fantastic driving experience, enhanced, I'm sure, by having great cars to drive!
