The 2024 version will be the anti-clockwise route, starting at Premier Inn Inverness Centre on the Friday, routing via a scenic detour through Lairg, up to John o Groats then on to Borgie, Skerray, Saturday routes to UIllapool, Sunday sees the (in)famous Applecross tackled from the inland to the coast then onto the beautiful village of Plockton, Monday completes the journey to Inverness and then down to Ballater via the famous military road from Tomintoul. Hotels aqre in Borgie, Ullapool, Plockton and Ballater.

Limited if required to 8 cars.

Would I be right in thinking the main difference to last year is the 4th day from Inverness to Ballater?

There are a few changes..you are limited given the number of roads there..different hotels, hopefully some snow on the peaks still..less grockles, different camper vans..doesn’t stop me doing it once or twice a year..obviously a bit closer… :driving: :thumbsup:

This has now mutated into a different trip ‘up there’..so this NC500 trip is cancelled..maybe 2025?
