Dreading this. Woke up with a severe sore throat but hoping its nothing related. Good luck Vidge; sounds awful!
 
Been in bed for 4 days this is first day without a massive headache that j have actually been able to look at a screen! On the plus side I have lost 1st in 4 days, not a bad start to the 2013 diet I guess! (Would rather have done it the long way however!)
 
Sounds bad... I had mine for 2 days, spoke on the great white porcelain phone for quite a bit of the first day... The weight loss won't be fat unfortunately (well a bit might be if you're a bit lardy like me) its likely dehydration so keep putting plenty of water down your neck!
 
Been off work for 2 days myself....

Its shattered my 3 days off in 13 yrs sickness record :(

I have had no energy at all,even finding it hard to get out of bed...Sore throat,headaches bit of dizzyness thrown in too.. Total loss of appetite(no bad thing for me)...All not to bad but its the severe lethargy that worries me...

Doctors at 4.30pm..... First time i have been to our "new" doctor,we have only lived here 7 years.... :roll:
 
I wish I'd had norovirus rather than this flu style viral infection that I've had for over 2 weeks now.
 
Is it Norovirus, novovirus or Norwalk virus ?? Either way, there's an outbreak at the old folks home where my dad is so can't visit today , maybe tomorrow .

Now we know what really happened to the dinosaurs, eh? :sick: :sick: :sick:
 
Had it two weeks before Christmas, my whole world fell out of my arse, really not nice give me flu anyday!!!
Paracetamol will get your temperature down, keep replacing the fluids, and dont fart even if you think it's safe to do so :cry:
