Normal vanos sound

So this question comes up especially from new owners, just wondering if anyone who has recently had a vanos rebuild or some who is confident there is nothing wrong with their vanos could upload a video to show what it should sound like. Cheers

i can post a video up on a mine if you want, but mine may not be the best representation on normal vanos noise due to extremely low miles. ( around 11.5k) mines very quiet. You'll have to give me a 24hrs or so, but I'm more than happy to make a video.

ok. bare with me, ill get a video up when i get some alone time from my son.

Here's mine from an overnight sleep and cold start.

Sits at about 1200rpm for the first couple of minutes, and then drops down to it's normal idle at around 800-900rpm.

Oil temp didn't move at all during these 3 minutes.

123,000-ish miles on mine though.
