Norfolk Newbie needs a welcome!

Hi All,

Just paid a deposit on a 2003 2.5 Z4
Dead excited now but have to wait till 16th to take delivery, gutted!

Any advice/tips welcome as I don't know much about them

Spec is:

Sterling Grey
18" Ellipsoid wheels
Black heated leather memory seats

Although I don't know much about Z4's, it looks lush and I can't wait to get it!
Anyone wanna buy a Z3?

Steve

welcome mate :D

hope you have plenty cash, you will need it.

the forums outcast,stevie.

Plenty of cash? Are they that bad?
Did a few rough figures and thought the running costs wouldn't be that huge!
What have I missed! lol

Quick question folks...

What does the "Sport Button" actually do?

I know it stiffens the steering but does it open valves in the exhaust like the RS4 or do any thing else??

Thanks

Welcome and do a search for Sport button and you'll find what you're looking for. :driving:

welcome - you have a similar spec to mine, only things i could point out are get used to changing 1st - 2nd without kangarooing - its a bit of an art form. also if your on bridgestone run flat tyres you will get the tram-lining effect where you feel the wheels following ruts in the road. sport button improves throttle response and steering is less assisted / heavier.

other than that get the top down and the heated seats are great for toasting your arse!

Z4 arrives tomorrow!!!! woop woop!

Due to the early arrival of my baby daughter Halle, this last week has flown by.
She was born Monday 13th at 11:45 weighing 8b10\ZZaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa, what a day!
Being a dad has been great so far although I didn't expect to be as tired.

I'll have to keep an eye on 1st to second changes. Been thinking about coming away from RFT's, haven't looked into it yet but guess it will cost a few quid.
Do they have to be done all at once or can you do the rears then the fronts later on?

Nice rear spoiler klarky, other than that my car looks identical from what I remember.

Be nice to get a half decent exhaust at some point too, any suggestions welcome as i've read mixed opinions.
