Hello all

Been loitering around the forum for a few weeks now, but finally managed to get some nice pictures of my z4 to introduce.
Picked it up about 4 weeks ago now, fell in love with the dealers photos but when I got there it was in the dreaded transport mode. I managed to by a cable and software from a great guy (Jimmy at cable-shack.co.uk) and he even remotely connected and helped me clear it.

Got to say this is one of the best forums I have ever been on - loads of really helpful stuff (that how I learned about transport mode).

Couple of things I want to do at the car - first one is gettting rid of the perspex wind deflector (the rattle is driving me mad), and thinking about getting the roof motor relocated and toying with buying a hard top............but at the minute I'm just loving driving it whenever I get the chance (was supposed to be a Sunday car, but my wife seems to have designs on it being her daily drive!).

Here's a few pics:

Welcome to the Forum

I had a Perspex wind blocker on my 2 litre and used small adhesive felt furniture pads between the roll hoops and Perspex to cut down the chatter. . . . . just a thought.

Welcome aboard. Very smart looking Zed. Treat yourself to a factory fishing net behind your head. Does a first rate job.

Hi and welcome.

Black Roadsters are the way to go! Ditch the perspex deflector and get the gimp-style like mine! :P

Enjoy :driving:

Welcome to the forum OP!

Nice looking Roadster.

Hope you get out go out and enjoy it. :driving:

Thanks for the warm welcome all.

So what's people's thoughts on hardtops.......I am in a total quandary! I love the fact that I can jump in the zed now and if it ain't raining I can drop the hood no matter what time of day.

But then I keep thinking maybe I should invest in a hard top for the health of the car/hood......living in yorkshire we get some harsh weather!

Just seen a black one come onto eBay for £950 which seems a decent price.......

What to do?
