Hi All,

Just got my hands on my first Z4 last week after the dealer put a new clutch kit in for me. I love it and now cant wait for the sunshine to rear its head to get the roof down.

From a few questions I googled, this forum always came up trumps with the answers which is fantastic.

I'm a bit of an amateur mechanic in my spare time after completing a car mechanics qualification at an adult education course.

The first job on my list is to replace the DISA valve on the Z4 as I noticed this morning that it is rattling.

I popped it off on my lunchbreak and true enough there is plenty of play in the flap.

I'll hopefully pop a video up on youtube of the play and will of course, link it to a post on here.

Thanks all. So how many of us all are along the south coast? Silly question but are there meet ups? What's this Zedfest I hear all about?
 
Hi, martynports and welcome from another newish member. Your Z looks great, unlike mine, which is presently covered by a layer of crusty salt and an inch or so of snow. When the weather warms up I'm going to do some serious car cleaning. :) Enjoy your Z!

I have to say you have chosen the best colour for a Zed, but that's maybe a topic for another thread. :D

Can't see a whip, so have you got a stubby? :wink:
