Non staggered set of MV2s

Hi Guys,
Require your Z4 expertise yet again! Im looking at buying a set of MV2s to replace my 108's that I've never liked and need a full refurb... I've seen a set on an auction site which are local to me but the ad states that they are NOT staggered (ET47 front and rear) Are they still okay to put on my car??

Yes , no harm at all , you could fit staggered rubber to get over the fact both wheels are 8j & maybe even add a 5mm wheel spacer on rears to get the set to sit where the oe factory staggered set would but they would fit on without

Many thanks Mr Wilks ... As always I have a follow up question... The new wheels have 225/40/18's whereas my old 108s have 235/35/18s at the front....Will that fit okay? (as in wheel arch clearance)

That wheel and tyre combo will fit with no issues.

Many thanks! ... Lol! I did see you had some for sale but the set I found were literally round the corner and have 4 good tyres on them ...
All I need to do now is sell my 108's... Any suggestions to what sort of price I should advertise them for? They all need refurbing but have 4 good RF tyres

Most folk not interested in runflats unfortunately although they can be sold on again. 108s in need of a full refurb go from anything around £100 to £250

Last two sets sold on the forum, needing 'a bit of a refurb' (one was mine) have both gone for £250, and a tattier set for £100; so if yours need a full refurb...

yes, a damn sight better than your 235's as 225/40/18 is what should be on as factory standard
