Non-Runflats

Hi all,

Its probably been discussed many times before but I have read conflicting information and wondered if someone can clarify.

If I change from runflats to non-runflat tyres - my MOT will fail as I carry no spare

Is it sufficient to carry in the boot some tyreweld and a comressor or do I have to carry a spare and/or jack somehow?

The Lotus Elise is sold with no spare and 1 can of Tyreweld so a spare is not necessary. It also has no jack or compressor - too much weight.
