Found a small bulge in the sidewall of one of my Michelin runflats. The tyres are not that old but fitted by previous owner, so no real comeback with the fitting centre. BMW dealer themselves I believe. As I can't stretch to the expense of a full set of non-runflats to put on my Z4 just yet I have to replace the one faulty tyre at this time.
However, in the near future I had planned to fit a full set of something like the Vredertein Ultrac Sessanta (excuse the spelling there
). This was till my usually very good tyre factor told me they would not fit these tyres on RFT rims. I have the 108s. They say that only runflat tyres can be safely fitted to runflat rims. I'm sure that some of you guys have done just that, so - is it safe?
Confused so confused. :? :? :?
