Non RFT’s wreck handling?

Used a large independent to MOT all the Z's and family cars for years, 5 cars in all. New service manager last time the Z4 went in, I did pre MOT check before and all fine, when I went to collect he tells headlight bulb out so replaced it £16 extra on the bill for supply and fit. couldn't argue but know it was ok when it went in, now go to a MOT only garage that doesn't do repairs and get a fair test whilst I wait.

Most local councils have a MOT station that only do MOT’s and no repairs so you will always get a fair test and are not looking to find “work that needs to be done”

My local dealership was as cheap as anywhere for MOTs and loads of free coffee and cakes
