Non RFT - Best Pressures / Recovery?

Hi gents, just chopped my Potenzas in for Eagle F1s. The ride was annoying me and actually the wet grip of the potenzas was terrible.

Anyway, the manufacturer pressures are presumably well off, what should I aim for?
And as far as a puncture goes, will BMW emergency services still save me or am I on my own? Tyreweld and a pump?

You will get various different replies to this and only you can decide what is best.
We stuck with the recommended pressures after switching to non-runflats and have had no problems with handling or comfort and have even wear across the width of the tyre.

There is a very long thread on this subject here https://z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=49&t=110545 which may account for you not receiving many replies.

For repairs a tyre string repair kit and a pump is a great option . I'd also add jack and wheel brace to the mix as it's much easier to repair the tyre while it's off the car.

With regards to tyre pressures, start at stock pressures and check tyre wear every 500 miles or so and make sure your wear is flat (for instance for every 1.5mm of wear on the inside I got 1.4mm in the middle and 1.3mm on the outside of my rear tyres). If you find the wear isn't flat adjust the tyre pressures (the higher the pressure the more wear on the centre of the tyre). You should be close to correct so small adjustments. I found my 35iS very sensitive to tyre pressures, so I tend to work in 2.5kpa jumps (0.35psi, 0.025 bar).
