Non M exhaust

I have been looking at putting on an exhaust system after I get to Germany. One thing I have noticed is that there seems to be a multitude of exhaust options for the Z4M's and not so many for the non M's. Strange that with so many companies making so many parts for a limited production car. Where is the price competition? Based on parts availability you would think that every zed ever made was an M. :scratchhead:

Just a random thought while shopping the web.

Plenty for the pre-facelift. Facelift, all "tuning" options are limited.

As you're going to Germany you should be able to get a good deal locally...

Having been lucky enought to have had a F355 convertible with a sports exhaust, (heaven at 8000rpm), highly tuned Subaru WRX with a Blitz Bur spec R, (lovely but just too LOUD), my new Z4 is silent in comparison.
Have you looked at the Milltek exhaust? This seems to have a nice note and is not too expensive. The Eisemann sounds no louder than the standard system, regards,
Mike

Same issue with Milltek. The bmw product section does not list any zed's at all. If you dig deeper one finally finds a zed system. For a pre face lift car. Nothing for a 3.0si.

I'll find something eventually. I just have to dig deeper into the bowels of the internet. At first glance. It seems that the 3.0si is not popular with the aftermarket tuners. Which is (to me) strange.

It's because of the engine design - makes it difficult for a most engine mods. Have a looks for the ad for ace's car, think that's a facelift with a Remus system. Will have a look at the car tomorrow for you
