Noisy speakers refuse to be quiet!

My Z4 coupe has developed a strange problem, when i turn all the sound system off, i can still hear music coming out from the speakers in the left door (its a RHD car)? If i turn the car off and remove the keys, the music stops, but if i leave the keys in any of the other positions, i can still hear the music. If i turn the sound system on, it plays as normal.

I've got the car booked in next week, so we'll see how it goes...............

The car has got full matching Black/Yellow interior with leather dash and Piano Black gear stick surround. Its loud, but i love it!

The car is going in on Monday to be looked at, maybe that'll stop the uninvited music?

Make sure there's something decent in the stereo when you take it in, no Robson & Jerome etc...

It will be interesting to find out what the problem is. Its actually very annoying as all you can hear is the tinny, high pitched noise coming out, similar to being sat next to someone with headphones on!

What really annoying me is that i'm going to be selling the car soon as i'm buying a house, so expect a sad, 'she's gone' thread in the not too distance future..........

I took the car to the dealer this morning, and guess what? The fault had gone!!!! :x They are going to keep it for the day and have a look round, see if they can find any obvious faults with the cars speaker system. Who knows????

Of-course. As always, when you even think of going to the dealer, most faults are dissapearing
