Hello, I was wondering if anyone else has had a similar issue / characteristic on their Z4.
I’ve owned my E89 Z4 23i for several years and when the fuel tank is above 2/3rds of a tank, it makes a rather whining sound when sat on idle. Runs a dream and no noise when driving.
I was told it is nothing to worry about as apparently it’s fairly common, however I’m wondering if anyone else has had similar and whether there is a suitable solution to fix this.
Apparently BMW issued a statement to say there is no harm - however I cannot find.
Any advice appreciated.
