Noise when turning at slow speeds after brake pad change

Hi everyone

Replaced the pads all round on the Zed today with Textar ones.

Pushed the pistons back, cleaned up the float pins and put the spring clip back on but now I am getting a strange binding or humming noise from the front of the car when moving off or going very slowly and turning at the same time.

Doesn't do it in a straight line.

After a 20 mile drive at motorway speeds I felt the temperature of each wheel and calliper and they are all the same (near cold) so not binding or stuck on.

Anyone else had this?

Only things I can think are;

I didn't grease the float pins for the callipers, I just cleaned them and put them back in (this is what I did)
I just need to drive it to get the pads to bed in
I didn't wire brush clean the calliper to hub bracket faces where the pads rest against - maybe reducing how much the calliper/pads can float?

Thanks

you should do all of this:

grease the float pins for the callipers, I just cleaned them and put them back in (this is what I did)
drive it to get the pads to bed in
wire brush clean the calliper to hub bracket faces where the pads rest against - maybe reducing how much the calliper/pads can float?

but really I wouldn't worry if the car brakes properly, but give them 100 miles to settle before being too hard on them
