Noticed it backing out of driveway. I went to a parking lot and did some tight turns forward and backwards...noticeable in both directions. Not rubbing wheel or tire but at a certain spot it feels like a definite kick or something in front end.
Could well be the end of a spring jumping over itself. Best check before you go too far. In some cases they can dig into the tyre.
Not too hard to change a spring for a garage with the right compressors etc, but if it does turn out to be that I would check the other side too and also consider the age of the top mounts and dampers.
Always best with suspension to match it across the axle, but of course that's not an expense you need just before Xmas!
I was going to say it might be steering column where it enters the engine through the bulkhead, but then you said it feels like a kick so it won't be that
