noise from steering?

Hi guys,

Do any of you get slight grinding/rubbing noise when turning the steering wheel when stationary or moving very slowly (during parking)?
My 09 35i does this and I feel paranoid about it as my MkV VW Golf R32 used to do this and I had such a nightmare with VW in trying to get it fixed (they never managed to fix it in the end). Should I get it checked out by the dealer when my car goes in to get the taillight fixed?

I had a slight knocking noise from mine back in 2010 which turned out to be the knuckle on the steering column. It was replaced under warranty and there's no noise now. It will do no harm to ask your dealer for their thoughts when its in.
