Noise from Near side rear

My other half has been complaining about a noise from the rear of the car for a while, when I listened I could hear what sounded like a rubbing sound from the NS rear wheel, so jacked up whipped the wheel off to check discs and pads. When I rotated the wheel the pads did seem to rub at one point in each rotation, so slightly warped disc I thought. The pads have still got plenty of mean on and the discs are in good shape
After putting wheel back on I went for a spin with the roof down down to have another listen, and the rotational noise is still there, but at ver low speen I can also hear what sounds like a creek with each rotation.
So other than the discs, is there anything else that could cause this noise? I don"t want to go replacing discs and pads if I don"t have to

help , advise or your similar experiences would be appreciated.

Dont think it's bushes, as the noise is rotational and speeds up or slows down. I was thinking handbrake too, think the best thing is to strip down and have a look. Discs have been on the car since new so might change those and the pads as a matter of course anyway.
