I have already posted a thread about this here.
However, after many months of waiting, BMW still have no ETA of stock in the UK or EU and cannot place an order for a new SBSL module with part number 65776948087. This has put us in a tricky situation, especially come MOT time. Is there any way to temporarily turn-off the airbag light until such a time when we can get our hands on a replacement module?
I've just checked and don't have one, but try [ref]bigwinn[/ref], [ref]umfaan[/ref] or [ref]street[/ref] on here, and failing that look for David Jackson or Maz Cool on fb.
Once you find one, speak to Stuart (bigwinn), Chris (street) or me to help you code it.

Am I reading this right that you can advise on coding a used module? I have the same issue as OP and while I found a second hand part, haven't figured the coding part yet!
Magic, will have a read through of the previous posts and see what I can do myself, you're all a fair distance away from Manchester!enuff_zed said:Yes!mjennings23 said:enuff_zed said:Why are you insisting on waiting for that number, when in the other thread you were provided with a list of compatible ones?

I reckon that I could probably help you out as well now. Feel free to reach out for any help. Do also read my other thread for some tips and clarifications that I found along the way.mjennings23 said:Magic, will have a read through of the previous posts and see what I can do myself, you're all a fair distance away from Manchester!enuff_zed said:Yes!mjennings23 said:Am I reading this right that you can advise on coding a used module? Do you have the Eidebas suite of software? If so it's fairly straightforward to follow Mac27040's guide to code the module yourself.mjennings23 said:Reckon I'll have a look at tacking this tomorrow, just about dried everything out from the leaking door membrane so figure I should get the car MOT-worthy again for the summer!
[ref]Bigwinn[/ref] is probably your closest, in Lincoln.Jaydennn96 said:Thanks for the reply![]()
Yeah unfortunately that seems to be the case I can’t find it anywhere.
I’m in Derbyshire so East Midlands![]()
Never tried it tbh. Could work, but you need to make sure you get a complete set from another car.Jaydennn96 said:just to add to this thread, does anyone know if its possible to swap all airbag modules together and recode them that way? I think I may have better luck doing it like that
If they are a proven working set but it doesn’t fix your problem then I would be interested in adding them to my stockJaydennn96 said:Expensive if it dosent work though I guess. Unless I could find a breaker who’s happy to help out and refund if it dosent work!
I’d be doing the Z4 community a lot of good if it works![]()
