No start, no clicking nothing

Is this how y'all are getting to the starter to remove it? https://youtu.be/m56cn9l_tpw?si=zTihfzInVy9EXr-a

Okay, finally got the connector off with a 11" needle nose pliers. Hooked up the multimeter and I'm getting 11.3 and then it just drops the longer I hold the key. So that would indicate starter, right?

Starter motors have a tendency to fail without giving any advance warning of them failing, had it happen on my E85 2.5, fine one day next day nothing. A couple of blows with a hammer and it sprang into life but failed after a couple of test starts. Far easier to take out and refit a replacement on the E85 took me about 20 mins. Lot more stripping down with the N52 engined versions. Source a replacement from your local parts suppliers, not sure what brands you have in the States.

It was indeed the starter. Finally got it installed last night. Can't say it was a fun job so I hope this starter lasts a long time. Mine was the original so it did last for a good bit of time :)
