No spirited Sunday drive for me this morning...

So given that 2 days ago there were butterflies in the garden and I was challenged with mowing the lawn, then this Sunday should be good for hardtop off and a drive.

Not so.... We had over 2" of snow last night at a time of year it never snows and after a Winter where we have had no snow settle. Pretty and picturesque but well salted roads are not for me....

Somewaht buizarre that the tarmac was so warm after last weeks warmth that the X5 is covered in snow but the drive and roads close to dry in places.

It is a similar snowscape down here this morning too.

I can remember some years ago having snow at the beginning of May in Birmingham...

My car is not going out today either!

We have over 20 cm of covering here down south. Even the X5 was going all over the place as the roads are not cleared around here.

Still snowing very, very hard at the moment.

GAZA62, great pics - I've lived in Leeds for 10 years now and I don't recall ever having that much snow. Where I'm from in Scotland is a different matter though, that's just a light dusting

I think video or filming has been banned for a considerable time. I guess they are just getting tougher on enforcing it.

How about taping the video camera behind the grille then using the small wireless remote from the car to switch on??
