No sound - new amp?!

So, after attempting jump start (with radio coming on briefly in between attempts) and then replacing battery of the zed - I now have no sound whatsoever from any audio source.

I have sat nav, 10 speaker DSP, Top Hi-Fi with Carver Lear amp, and disk changer (albeit this is disconnected as have Intravee installed). Have checked fuses 47 & 50 which are working fine, as well as the 30 amp fuse on the amp itself. Are there any other fuses I should check please?

Now this may be a very stupid question, but for some reason there isn't anything connected to the coax port on the amp - is this normal?!

I took it to BMW yesterday and they said that the amp shows signs of water ingress. It does, however this was caused by a leaky tail light surround and a leaky 3rd brake light (both repaired ages ago, and everything had been working fine up until jump start/battery change so don't think it would have suddenly stopped working).

If there is anybody near Swindon who also has his amp I'd be grateful to be able to test theirs on mine or vice versa please?

All ideas and guidance most welcome!

Thank you

It's possible the car has gone into "transport mode" does the A/C fan work properly, ie at full speed?

Surprised the dealer never checked this, oh no - I'm not surprised at all....

What is this transport mode you speak of?! Sounds one step nearer to me getting transformer mode!

The fan seems to work fine, yes. Haven't tried it on A/C, only the windscreen blower setting?

You're a gent - I need to see you to discuss quad exhaust and all things shiny too. Will PM you now, cheers Mat.
