Sat nav, cruise, 14 speaker gramophone, heated steering wheel, Bluetooth and media pack, heated seats, then all the regular bits Graham.

Heated Steering wheel???? Come on!!!

A pair of gloves is about £200 cheaper.

I actually specified this on my 5 Series company car and the MD told me he would buy the gloves. I'm still await some 3 years later!!!

It is a good option in the winter and I have had it on a XF demo

£150 option Graham, seemed rude not to, never have the roof up summer/winter, every bit helps.

Novelty factor 10/10 too....

I don't blame you.

I thought it was £250 option on 5 but that was3 years ago and my memory is not that good

Enjoy

very nice

heated steering wheel is fab and with gloves you lose the feel of the steering wheel. i had it on my last e89 but this one doesnt have it as i opted for something built rather than wait for factory build. i used to use my heated steering wheel almost everyday as it was a god send in the early morning when my hands were cold lol

have a fantastic day, nothing like picking up a new year and that first drive home

Thanks very much all, the posts are much appreciated.

Only my 2nd new car ever, the first being about 28 years ago so def forgotten what it's like, all adds to the experience. :D :driving:

As someone with mild-raynards/vibration white finger & nerve trauma on one hand - gloves are absolutely useless! They simply delay the cold of the steering wheel getting to your skin. On top of that they deaden all feeling & make the controls clumsy to use.
